My children have been so precious lately, and so silly too. They are totally into calling each other names; it brings them to giggles and almost tears!
I'm not sure which PaPa started it first - the PaPa in SC calls them names on the phone all of the time (ex: Noodle Nose or Banana Head). Then, PaPa from PA came down and started a name calling contest with Luke....and Lydia soon joined in....it went something like this:
PaPa - "You're a silly head!"
Luke - "You're a fork!"
silence.....wait for it....
Both - "ba ha ha ha ha ha!"
PaPa - "You're a stinker head!"
Luke - "You're a chair!"
Both - "ba ha ha ha ha!"
And repeat.
And repeat.
AND repeat.
Now that they are sans any PaPa's, they have to rely on each other for the name calling game. They do it every day, usually around a meal, and it escalates from a giggle to eventual screaming laughter! Lydia even told Luke the other day that "it was his turn to call her something now". You don't hear that very often. :)
Another spin-off game that they have created is the "would you eat a.....?" game. They ask each other if they would eat a tree, or car or a toot (Luke's favorite word already!!!) and then they say "gross!" Oh man, it's like I live with kids or something. Oh wait, I guess I do. This just reminds me that they are both growing-up so quickly, and they are not babies any more. But, it's pretty fun having silly kids too!
