Luke is super into music. I know he is a bit young for me to be declaring his talents and abilities already, but he really does seem to have a natural ability at it. He loves all types of instruments, and he's getting very good at singing real songs. He also loves beats.....and he's not ashamed to share them!
Lately, he's been telling us what animals to be at the dinner table. He will say, "You, lion." - and I have to growl like a lion. Then he says, "You, giraffe." (my favorite, because giraffes are mute!) Anyways, lately this game has transitioned into giving each of us musical instruments to play, and he makes his own band.
"You, tar." (guitar)...make one of out your fingers...
"You, drum."...give us a good beat!
"You, horn."....hey, we were running out of good instruments
And he is SO into it. I am going to try and put a video up, but it's never as good as in real life. He has this really serious face, and his tongue is usually out (thanks Uncle Kyle!), and he gets REALLY INTO IT. Just jamming away.....in his highchair.....in the car seat......whenever there's music going on in his head. :)
